Because her mother does not want Namrata to hang out at home after college she suggests she do some kind of internship.
Coleen Khan saw the spirit of Namrat and how passionate and interested she was. Then she suggested her to do makeup courses.
Namrata had to face many difficulties to start her career in Bollywood Industry.
Before 2014, women were not allowed to work as makeup artists in Bollywood they could only do hair.
Namrata was threatened many times but she did not step back she fought for her rights. Sometimes she has to hide in vanity vans.
Her family and some Bollywood celebrities like Farah Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, and Malaika Arora support her too much.
They wanted Namrata to work in the Bollywood industry.
But in 2014, the Supreme Court of India put an end to the 59-year-old de facto ban on women working as makeup artists on Bollywood film sets.
